We are offering our customers the option to arrange their funeral plan now in December 2024 and make, or begin making, payments by 8 January 2025.
If you have purchased your Aura funeral plan using our ‘Buy Now, Pay in January’ offer, please take a moment to read the terms and conditions below carefully. These ‘Buy Now, Pay in January’ Terms and Conditions are supplemental to our principle Terms and Conditions and should be read in conjunction with them. If you’ve already paid for your plan in full, or if your first instalment was (or will be) made in December, these terms and conditions to not apply to you and can be disregarded.
This offer is only available to customers who take out any Aura pre-paid funeral plan via telephone between 1 – 31 December 2024.
Paying in Full in January 2025:
For customers paying in full in January 2025, plan cover will not start until you have made your full payment on or by 8 January 2025.
Paying by Instalments:
For customers paying instalment payments over 12 or 24 months, plan cover will not start until you have made all payments.
In the event that you were to pass away before your plan is paid in full, we would refund all payments made, including any lump sum, to your estate. Alternatively we will honour the plan and request payment on the outstanding instalments from the estate.
If you miss 2 consecutive payments we’ll write to you within 5 days of the second missed payment with details of the amount owing and informing you of the consequences. You can pay the monies owed within 10 days of the date of our letter without incurring any penalty or fees. Whilst we will always try to avoid it, we retain the right to cancel plans where at least 2 consecutive payments are missed. If your plan is cancelled we will return all payments made towards the plan to you.
A Plan cannot be reinstated once it has been cancelled, however, you can take out a new plan at the then current price. Any payments already received relating to the former Plan can be refunded or transferred to the new plan as a deposit.
If you have been diagnosed with a terminal illness and are expected to pass away within the next 24 months, please contact us before taking out your funeral plan.
This offer is subject to us being able to offer you an appropriate funeral plan product which meets your needs, is affordable and won’t cause any financial difficulties.
If you have previously held and cancelled an Aura funeral plan, you will not be eligible for this offer.
