Our Wonderfully Imagined plan allows you to have a low-cost attended direct cremation with a simple service at one of our partnered crematoria.
Choose between an intimate 10-minute service for up to 15 attendees, or a 40-minute full service for an unlimited number of attendees.
There are no expensive limousines, hearses or high-end coffins. We bring the person who has died to the crematorium privately. Then the family can hold a simple service to say goodbye in a way that feels right.
Aura Direct Cremation Funeral Plans are the only plans on the market to have two five-star-rated plans by the Times Money Mentor (with ratings provided by Fairer Finance) and Funeral Solution Expert, so you can be sure that you’re getting the best in quality, value and care. We are also rated 4.9/5 stars on Trustpilot, and our plans are protected by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme.
Please note that the costs of a celebrant or religious minister are not included in our plans. We partner with the Association of Independent Celebrants so we can support you or your family in finding a suitable celebrant to lead your service.
Our five-star-rated Wonderfully Imagined funeral plans start at £2,195. We offer flexible and affordable payment options. You can pay in full or spread the cost across 12 or 24 months and there is no additional cost. Monthly payments start at £91.46 per month.

You can purchase your plan online with a few easy clicks. You’ll then receive your funeral plan documents automatically via email. We can also arrange to send them to you via post.
We offer the chance to add an informal service to your plan at a local crematorium. Choose between a 10-minute intimate farewell for up to 15 people, or a 40-minute service for as many friends and family as you’d like at one of our partnered crematoria.

When you purchase one of our funeral plans, your money is placed into a secure, independently managed trust. This is kept safe until it’s needed to cover your funeral or to refund you if you change your mind.
For added peace of mind, all our plans are protected by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS). So, in the unlikely event we couldn’t fulfil your plan, you could be eligible for compensation.

We offer flexible payment plans so you can secure your plan today and pay over a longer term. You can either pay in full or spread the cost of your plan over 12 or 24 months. The cost of your plan will stay the same no matter how you pay.
Just let us know. If you opt for an attended cremation and have already told us your preferred location, you can still change it. If you haven’t selected a preferred location then your nominated representative will choose one after you’ve died. If you opt for an unattended cremation, the location of the crematorium will be at Aura’s discretion.

Our attended direct cremation plan offers the sentiment of a traditional funeral, without many of the unnecessary and expensive costs. Unlike a traditional funeral, there are no expensive hearses or limousines, or high-end coffins. Our team will take the person who has died to the crematorium privately, and we respectfully lay them to rest in the chapel before the family arrives. All of our funeral plans include a simple, wood-effect coffin, but your family are welcome to change this when the time comes if they would like (however please note this is not included in the cost of the plan, so additional charges for this will apply).
