As opposed to a traditional funeral, a Direct Cremation has a much simpler format and allows for the easier inclusion of your wishes. Normally, it is unattended, with the cremation happening either in Melrose or elsewhere in the UK depending on what you think would be best. The ashes of your loved one would then be personally returned to you at home, or scattered in the crematorium's garden of remembrance.
