At the point of purchase, you’ll select a loved one or close friend to be your ‘Nominated Representative’; when you pass away, they’ll tell us immediately, and we will guide them step-by-step through what they need to do next. Finally, we’ll use the money we’ve set aside in trust for you, to pay for everything, ensuring that there’s nothing left to pay and no unexpected fuss for your family.

Unlike many other funeral plan providers, Aura gladly offers families the option to attend the funerals of their loved ones. With our attended options, families have the chance to arrange a 15-to-45 minute ceremony about their loved one alongside a celebrant or religious minister, who will oversee things on the day.
There are quite a few different factors that need to be considered with organising a funeral. We completely understand that some families prefer to have as much control as possible over the arranging process, and that’s totally okay. That said, for necessary work and legal matters, our fantastic Angel team will be there to make sure everything is in order and that everything proceeds as planned.
As a rule, at Aura we try to avoid giving estimates beforehand, simply because every funeral is as different as the person whom they are commemorating. It’s important to bear that in mind when thinking about funeral plans.
