Aura’s direct cremation services in Perth are available at a fraction of the cost of a traditional funeral. They start at £1,095, which, according to SunLife, is less than half of last year’s average UK funeral cost (£4,141). Our services provide families with a dignified and affordable option without compromising on care. If you’d like to get a personalised quote for a direct cremation that you’re looking to organise, you can give our friendly team a call.
Some prefer to say goodbye in person, and that’s totally okay. Aura is one of the few providers that offers attended options for direct cremation, starting at £1,895. It allows you, along with family and friends, to attend a ceremony that has been personalised around the life of the person who has died, so that you can pay your respects. We will also help you to find an independent celebrant or religious minister, who can work with you to create the ceremony, based around their life-story and personality.
After you select Aura as your funeral provider in Perth, we’ll take the body of the person who has died into our care as soon as you’re ready. Depending on where the person is resting when we come to collect them, there may be an applicable urgent-collection fee. They will remain in our state-of-the-art mortuary facilities until the day of cremation, at which point we’ll bring them to the crematorium in a private ambulance, with dignity. Within 21 days of the cremation, we can arrange to hand-deliver their ashes back to you, or scatter them at the Garden of Remembrance of the crematorium itself – whatever you think would be best.
It’s very difficult to provide a meaningful timescale at the outset, as every funeral is unique. Without forgoing our high standards, we will always work to complete things as quickly as possible, but it’s important to remember that there are many factors involved with funeral arranging which can impact completion times. We will always keep you updated regularly, every step of the way.
We understand that for some people, in facing death, taking as much control as possible is important. While we won’t stand in the way of that, there are certain legal forms that need to be completed before a cremation can take place. We will help you to make sure that this is all in order, and provide just the right amount of care for you throughout our process. Together we’ll make sure that the person who has died will receive the funeral that does them justice.
