When you buy a funeral plan from Aura, you can expect it to work as follows: You choose someone you’re close to (a friend or family member) to be your Nominated Representative. They’ll be our point of contact: we’ll give them a handy leaflet that explains everything they need to do when the time comes, and they’ll also let us know immediately that you’ve passed away. At that point, we will use your money (which we’ve set aside in a trust for you) to pay for your funeral.
We know from experience that families often worry about paying for the cost of their funeral. It hopefully brings some comfort to you to know that we offer our funeral plans from £1,595. Based on information provided by SunLife, this figure is actually less than half of the price of a funeral in the UK in 2023, which was £4,141. Our funeral plans can help you to plan ahead and spare your family from needless expense.
Unlike many other providers, we offer your loved ones the chance to attend your funeral. We offer an intimate service for up to 15 people, lasting for 15 minutes, or a 45-minute service for as many people as the crematorium can hold. Your family will work with a celebrant or religious minister to help design your service based around your life.
Please don’t worry – your family will be in safe hands when the time comes. Our Angel team are there to guide them through all of the administrative tasks they’ll face and to make sure that everything is in order. They’ll provide your family with as much or as little care as they want, as each family is different and handles a difficult time in different ways.
Unfortunately, it’s not possible to provide an accurate time frame beforehand, as every funeral is different. Please rest assured that our diligent team will organise everything as soon as is practicably possible, and that they will communicate their progress to your family every step of the way.
