In order to make sure everything goes smoothly, we recommend you appoint a loved one to be your ‘Nominated Representative’ when you buy one of our funeral plans. We’ll provide them with a helpful pack that explains exactly what they need to do when the time comes, starting with notifying us that it’s time to put your plan into action. We’ll then work together to put your wishes into effect, using the money you’ve given us to fund everything.

If it’s important to you or your family to have loved ones at your ceremony, then we are proud to say that this is a possibility with Aura. We can assist your family in finding either a religious minister or a secular celebrant to personalise a ceremony around you, and to lead it on the day. We know how important it can be for some people to handle the admin aspect of a loved one’s funeral, as some feel it can help with processing the loss. We will provide as much or as little admin support as wanted by the family, but please bear in mind that certain certificates and documents are mandatory, and we will always make sure that it is in place by supporting you.
We will always work as diligently as we can to deliver on your plan as quickly as possible. But we would ask you to bear in mind that each funeral is different from the next, and that there are many different components to each one. We’ll make sure to update as regularly as you need with our progress.
